I stepped up to serve on our Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools (PLSAS) School Board out of deep love and wanting to contribute more to our district. What I didn’t fully realize then was just how much this journey would teach me - about myself, our community, the world of public education, and the profound responsibility of making decisions that affect our kids and teachers every day.

Serving my first term has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’ve learned that meaningful leadership isn't about having all the answers right away; it’s about pulling up a chair, truly listening, and ensuring our staff feels supported and our students feel seen. I’m running for re-election because my heart is entirely in this work. I want to keep collaborating, advocating, and showing up for our schools with the care, humility, and dedication our community deserves. Go Lakers!
